Barnesy! YAY!

Hi there,

So I'm new to this whole blog thing, but I figured I'd give it a go. It seems so strange to put all your feelings and emotions out there for all to see. But I'll tell you one thing... I am so excited about seeing Jimmy Barnes LIVE!!!!!!! I LOVE JIMMY BARNES!!! Rock God! Aussie Legend! And I finally get to see him live on stage. I cannot wait! Only 47 more sleeps!!! YAY!!! For those of you not so au fait with classic Australian pub rock, I have two words for you... COLD CHISEL! Jimmy was the frontman for this fantastic 5-piece rock'n'roll band from the mid/late 70s right through to 1983 when the band broke up. Jimmy went on to have a huge solo career which is still going strong today. Some of Cold Chisel's biggest hits include "Standing on the Outside", "Rising Sun", "Choir Girl" and, of course, the iconic "Khe Sanh". Jimmy is a big fave of mine - there's something about a man in leather pants, singing with a gravelly voice and that cheeky smile of his... anyway.

Oh well, till next time,
Be good...Or if you can't be good, be good at it...
Tamika
